A cranberry candle flickers in its jar, giving off a subtle aroma. 🕯️

Dreary skies are once again visible outside the bay window. 🪟

A smiling axolotl sticker grins at me from the back of my laptop. 😀💻

My pink “One Loved Grandma” coffee mug yearns to be refilled as my furry companions enjoy a Sunday afternoon nap.☕🐈🐈‍⬛🐈

  1. The TV IN FRONT OF ME IS PLAYING the Faithful as I watch, rapt.
My hubby to my right playing around on his laptop.
Ever-present water sits to my left, this time it’s flavored as pina colada.
On either side of the TV are the doggies kennels but we don’t make them get in them when we leave. The incessant barking would disturb the neighbors on the other side of our duplex.

  2. My golden retriever napping in the early morning light in the chair to my right. A favorite dinosaur book of the grands on the ottoman. A sewing machine that is behaving badly when I try to use it. Worn out lilacs in a bowl I tried to save from the snow last week. I need to find the cup of coffee I sat down somewhere this morning. Grace & Blessings to you

  3. Barb, I always appreciate reading your sentences. They share blessed connections.

I am sitting in the kitchen of my older Ohio daughter while she and her husband are away. The cloudy morning skies have opened to share sunlight’s welcoming energy. My coffee cup is nearly empty, but my optimism for today is freshly brewed. Sitting at my feet is Sadie, a mature and caring English lab.
