SYNOPSES
Three shows. Three cities. Three killers.
Step into the glitz, grit, and gunpowder of the Wild West with sharpshooter Annie Oakley in this thrilling historical mystery collection. From the spotlight of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show to royal intrigue in London and murder beneath the Ferris wheel in Chicago, Annie faces danger that no bullet can outrun.
Courageous, clever, and always underestimated, Annie will need more than a steady aim to survive the secrets, scandals, and sinister plots lurking behind the curtain.
Book 1: Girl with a Gun
Fame makes Annie a star—and a target. When her assistant is murdered and her horse is poisoned, she uncovers a deadly conspiracy within the Wild West Show. With trust shattered and danger closing in, Annie must rely on more than sharpshooting to survive her deadliest performance yet.
Book 2: Peccadillo at the Palace
Invited to Queen Victoria’s Jubilee, Annie expects glory—not treason. When a royal escort is murdered and her husband falls ill, Annie uncovers a plot to topple the monarchy. With assassins in the shadows, she must stop a crown-shattering conspiracy before she becomes the next target.
Book 3: Folly at the Fair
At the Chicago World’s Fair, a murder beneath the Ferris wheel pulls Annie into a whirlwind of secrets and danger. As bodies pile up and an old friend’s daughter is threatened, Annie must untangle the mystery before the killer adds her to the growing list.
REVIEW
I was first introduced to this series when I got a FREE copy of the prequel novella, Shoot Like a Girl, a couple of years ago. The series has been waiting patiently in my Kindle library ever since.
If you are looking for a fun series with a bit of the “wild west”, this series is for you.
