Thus the LORD used
to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses
returned to the camp, his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would
not depart from the tent. Exodus 33:11
Here is a very interesting scripture for several reasons.
First it says that Moses spoke with God “Face to Face”. Now at first you would
believe this is an idiom as the Apostle John said “Nobody has seen God” However
when you examine the original Hebrew word “panim” it means exactly Face
So the scripture is clear that Moses spoke to God “Face to
Face” just as a friend. Since God is a Spirit (John 4:24) the logical
conclusion is Moses was speaking to Jesus Christ!
