What is a veteran?

A Veteran – whether active duty, discharged, retired or reserve – is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The United States of America, for an amount up to and including his or her life.

I am blessed to have veterans from the US Air Force, Army, Marines & Navy in my life. Those who have not served will never truly understand what these heroes have gone through.

Please take the time today to thank a veteran for their service & pray for those who are in harm’s way.
