If you have been reading this blog for any time at all, you probably know that I am proud to be married to an Air Force Veteran. But before I even met him I loved and respected the veterans in my family. I called them Grandpa, Uncle, Cousin, and “Dad”.

Principal Josh Nobilio, escorted members of the CLS Jazz Band and Choir this year as Crystal Lake South High School honored our local veterans with a personal visit to each of their homes. I was in tears by the time they left our home.
