The Barnabas Award

HERRY CHIC COUNSELS nominated me for The Barnabas Award. I look forward to reading her posts on a regular basis.  If you have not read her work, I encourage you to do so. Why five? Because it is the number that signifies grace 5 things about me that you may not know: I am the oldest child in my family. I love to do word & number puzzles. I love jigsaw puzzles I enjoy scrapbooking and cardmaking. My bloging started as a writing exercise at work. The questions from Herry 1, Who is the person that has most influenced you in your faith walk? My best friend and pastor (& fellow blogger) Cynthia A Grieb 2. Other than the Holy Bible, is there another book that you read that encourages you? Can you recommend it to us? Anything from Lysa Terkeurst,  I also enjoy CS Lewis & AW Tozer.  3. If you could walk anywhere to spend some “alone” time with God, where in the world would you want to be and why? I would take a walk on our family farm in rural Ohio (USA).  Clear Creek Farm is my favorite place on earth.  4. Do you have a favorite praise song? What is it?  Lately I have been obsessed with the David Crowder songs Red Letters &  All My Hope.  But my all time favorite is probably Mary Did You Know. 5. Do you ever send notes or cards of encouragement? Why or why not?  Yes I do, from personal experience receiving a note during times of struggle can make all the difference on a bad day.  It brings me joy to do the same for others.
