I have been pondering this verse off & on all day in an attempt to answer the questions that it poses.
From the Idiom Dictionary “People think of rocks as strong, solid, and unchanging. To call a person a rock means the same thing. That person is someone you can always rely on to help and support you.”
Believers, God is your rock when you’re facing illness, living in the midst of a crisis or needing hope and comfort. Lean on the Savior in good times & bad. If you are having a hard time finding Him, remember that He isn’t the one that moved. You did. But take heart, reconnecting with God is only a prayer away.
They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God their redeemer. – Psalm 78:35 (ESV)
Thank God for who He Himself is We call Him Rock of Ages- I would think that right throughout the ages of time His faithfulness is rock solid.

He is our rock. I love what you said – if you have trouble finding Him, you have moved because He has not. That is such a simple yet profound statement.
Blessings 😊💙

Yes ma’am. He is our rock. And it’s comforting to know we can always lean on and rely on Him. He is never tired of listening to us or even helping us through our difficulties. He is indeed a friend that sticks with us than a brother. 🙌
