A Side-by-Side Comparison

It’s weird, when you lose a lot of weight, your brain still sees a fat person in the mirror. You know that your clothes are falling off, but you can’t believe you need things that are more than 2 sizes smaller than anything in your closet. This type of body dysmorphia can cause people to give up and go back to their old way of life.

Fortunately, I have an amazing support system that doesn’t let me go down that dark and lonely road.

I have been nervous about sharing pictures, but I think it’s time.

Total loss 109 lbs. Feeling GREAT!

  1. Congratulations! This is quite an accomplishment!

I am new to your blog. I found it thanks to my friend Alan Kearns—from Devotional Treasures.

Everything is well laid out and easy to find, and every post I’ve read so far is worth reading.

Blessings on your continued journey with Jesus!

  2. Congratulations! You look wonderful, but that fabulous smile is marvelous in both photos!!! It must be that your beautiful soul kept shining through…extra pounds or not! You are an inspiration for people who want to get their weight under control for health reasons: you are amazing!
