The beauty of this type of friend is that she isn’t just staring into space hoping you’ll be done “whining ” soon. No, she is listening to every word, watching your body language & facial expressions as she unravels the chaos in your life.

AND when you’re ready…but only when your ready…she speaks truth into your life. Not just feel-good platitudes but real truth with solid advice.

My friend Cindy is that friend for me. She is not afraid of the hard conversations & has on more than one occasion “talked me off the ledge”.

The good news is that even if you don’t have an earthly friend like my BFF, you do have a friend in Heaven who is a “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6b. What more does a girl really need?
