My daughter & I went to a “fancy party” the other night.
Ok, maybe the party wasn’t a black tie affair but it was a “vision board soiree “. So that’s “fancy”….right?
Seriously though, I want to express my gratitude to Swan and Tosha for creating such a fun & encouraging virtual event.
By definition a vision board is “a collage of images and words representing a person’s wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration or motivation.” (Dictionary.com).
I love that we started the event with prayer & that throughout the evening the ladies offered each other spiritual encouragement. I pray that God richly blesses each lady who participated and that together all their dreams come true.
It was fun seeing how different each person’s board was. Mine is filled with prayers for my family.

What kind of things would be on your vision board?
You’re making me think, Barb. Ouch!
Somewhere on my board would be these three words: perspective, resilience and choice.

Those are good strong words, David.
I apologize for making you think…tee hee hee

Good post! I have a vision board in my office sitting on the closet door because all of my walls are full. But it is in a place where I can see it everyday—Without a vision, the people perish. (Proverbs 29:18)

Very nice idea! I will have to think on this. I admire goal-making, but tend to shy away from much of it for myself, knowing I also tend to be my worst critic when I stumble! 🙂 However, I will say “seeking God more” would feature prominently and perhaps the word “create” would be in there as well.

I look forward to seeing how those “prayers” play out for you this year!
