Simply Pasteur

My sister-in-law and I have decided to go into the city (Chicago) once a month to have authentic ethnic food. So far I’m loving this new hobby!

Our first meal was at Simply Pasteur (Pasteur Restaurant of Chicago) in Little Vietnam. The phở was the best soup I have ever eaten.

This Tea Set is Lovely
Seafood Wraps ‐ Crabmeat, Shrimp & Calamari Cream Cheese Blend with Sweet & Sour Sauce
Saigon Crepe – A Light Blend of Rice Flour, Turmeric & Coconut Milk Crepe with Shrimp, Straw Mushrooms & Bean Sprouts Served with Fresh Lettuce & Herbs (Make Your Own Wrap)
Pho – Beef Bone Marrow Stock with Brisket. (Make it Your Own With Hoisin Sauce, Saracha, Jalapeños, Mint, Cilantro, Bean Sprouts & Lime)

We also stopped at Chui Quon Bakery, for almond cookies, custard tarts & a variety of buns. I forgot to take pictures. Maybe next time.
