I attended my biennial 1st Aid, CPR & AED recertification class this afternoon.
This class is not a remedy in the classic sense, but one could argue that the skills learned in classes such as these give the student the ability to give emergency aid to others in times of medical crisis. Right?
So, if I am rendering medical aid, I am in essence offering a remedy for whatever ails the individual.
There are so many other ways that we can be a provider of remedies in this world.
Sending an encouraging note to a friend.
Cooking a meal for an exhausted mother with a newborn.
Planting flowers for your neighbor who broke her hip last winter.
How has God asked you to be a remedy this week?
And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. – Hebrews 13:16 NIV

God bless you Barbara for your service in His name. These are challenging words indeed, thank you. They are confirmatory regarding a letter I felt I needed to write to a couple in Christ I haven’t seen for years.

Our church has a group email for prayer requests. Knowing people are praying, and especially getting a response to the email, saying “I’m praying for you” is encouraging. ❤️
