Earlier this week I wrote, Back to Jail, I Go! It had been so long since our team had been able to minister at the McHenry County Jail. And then, on Wednesday night, a new case of the coronavirus in the facility canceled all the programs again.
On Tuesday night we had a farewell dinner at Outback for our dear friends Nathan & Diane Bargo.
And then…
Yesterday, I played duck-duck-goose. If you’ve never played it with preschoolers, I highly recommend it. There was a whole lot of running, laughing and cheering each other on.
Laughter is sometimes the best medicine.
