A Beautiful Autumn Day

Yeterday, Connie and I had another wonderful day in the city (Chicago).

We always start our day with chai latte for the road.

This weekend we started with the Wendella 90-minute Chicago River Tour. I have always wanted to get this view of the city & it didn’t disappoint.

For lunch we went to Beat Kitchen on the Riverwalk.

Next, we grabbed some Chicago favorites at Water Tower Place.

  • Glass Elevators

Our final destination was a Mob Tour (Chicago Crime Tours). We got quite a history lesson AND added several books, movies & TV series to our must read/ watch list.

In case you didn’t know this about me, I am fascinated by the true crime genre. This tour definitely piqued my interest in learning more about the how Prohibition Era shaped Chicago history.
