Caldo de Res

My bus attendant, Yeymi, was born in Mexico and immigrated to the US in her early teens.  Her parents taught her the value of hard work and the importance of family. Over the last three years we have had shared our lives through deep spiritual conversations and praying for each others needs. We also share our love of cooking for others.

This week she made a huge pot of Caldo de Res (Mexican Beef Soup) and shared some with me. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I found a similar recipe on allrecipies.com.
