Growing in Wisdom & Faith: James (A Woman After God’s Own Heart®) by Elizabeth George [REVIEW]

Where can women get the wisdom that will help them make the right choices in the many decisions of life? How can they develop a faith that won’t waver or crumble when they’re overwhelmed by life’s trials and temptations? The book of James answers these questions and more and provides practical guidance on many issues that affect Christian women daily, such as:

  • persevering through life’s troubles
  • putting on a heart of patience
  • planning the future with God in mind

An encouraging resource for women who yearn to experience real spiritual growth!

I want to thank my friend April for hosting this Tuesday night study via Zoom. The wonderful part about participating in an online Bible study is the ability to meet with people from across the country (or across the globe). I so enjoy weekly fellowship with these godly ladies, (even though my crazy life caused me to miss a few meetings).

At first I was disappointed by the content of this study. I have studied/read James many times, therefore I was looking for something with more depth. But as the study progresses the author really digs into the heart of James.

I definitely recommend going through this with at least one other. We can learn so much from the insights of others.

I ♥️ the videos from BibleProject.
