SYNOPSIS

In recent years I have chosen a different translation to use during my personal study & quiet time. For 2022, I chose ESV.

The English Standard Version is an English translation of the Bible. The ESV was published in 2001 by Crossway, having been “created by a team of more than 100 leading evangelical scholars and pastors.” The ESV relies on recently published critical editions of the original Hebrew and Greek texts. I love that individual books of the ESV are available in digital format. I also want to thank my friend Stephanie for reading through this book with me. It was helpful to have someone with whom to discuss the daily lessons.

I also realized that I need to spend more time in this book as it speaks to me in ways that no other book does (except maybe James 😉).
