Time For BIG Prayers

Is it just me or does it seem like the regard for human life has evaporated in our country?

Father God,

I’m at a loss. How do I pray for things to get better? What words do I use? Or do I just accept that things are going to get a lot worse before they get better?

I beg you Lord to protect our children. ALL CHILDREN. The unborn. The disabled. The “normal”. They are the innocent victims of a sinful society. Protect their lives, their hearts, their bodies, their minds & their mental health.

How long Jesus? How long will the pain and suffering in the lives of my loved ones continue.

How can I encourage others?

How can I facilitate healing?

All I know for sure is that You, Abba Father, have a plan and Your will not be thwarted.

In Your Precious & Holy Name,

Amen

  1. Hi! I’m grateful for your words here tonight. I’m next door at space #33 in the linkup for FMF.
Your testimony to how God directs you to write is fascinating. Thank you for raising helpful questions in your post. These are good to think on.

  2. If we can join hands and pray for this world, our country, our neighborhood I’m all in. Many of us are in a state of nothingness in the world. Thank you for your timely post.

  3. Your prayer rings true in many of us! Oh Lord, how can we facilitate change to protect our innocent ones, the vulnerable … move in and through us. Show us your will and may we have the courage to be your hands and feet.

I am having trouble leaving comments on some sites 😦 but I wanted you to know my response to the post you shared on my linkup this week. Thank you so much for being present and blessing with your words! Below is the comment I wanted to leave … When we see all that is happening in our world, it is so disheartening. I keep reminding myself to keep my eyes focused on God’s Word, to keep looking to Him, and praying. I am so very grateful when there are no words, He reads our hearts and tears.
