On Tuesday I met my friend Stephanie for lunch. Since we live almost two hours apart, we pick a type of cuisine and search for a place that’s halfway between. In doing so, we have discovered some great restaurants!
Q-BBQ in LaGrange, IL was our destination on this day.
God blessed us with a sunny 75⁰ day and an outdoor table in a shady spot. The food was DELICIOUS but the time my friend was priceless.
Our conversation flowed effortlessly and we went home feeling heard and loved.

The only low spot was discoving a flat tire on my truck as we were headed to our cars. But God was on my side the auto club guy arrived in less than 20 minutes. He was able to fix the tire and have me on my way in under half an hour.

Great food and fellowship that makes you feel heard and loved. More men need to have friendships like these! That’s a big piece of metal! Thank God for auto club guys!
