Last Friday (August 5th) some of the ladies from our church met at Feed My Starving Children (Libertyville, IL) to pack meals for children in South Sudan.
In under two hours, we packed enough meals to feed 70 children for a year. How amazing is that! At the end of the evening, we met in the warehouse for prayer.
We prayed for:
- The children who will receive the food
- Those who transport the food from the warehouse to the final destination
- The staff of #FMSCLibertyville
I look forward to serving at this facility again in the near future.

Even in America, lack of food is a problem. Food pantries can’t keep up with higher demands. Thank you for doing your part. Blessings, Barbara!

Love these!! We’ve done a few where they come in with the supplies and set it up at a church and then people come together to pack the meals. Super fun and such a blessing for those on the receiving end!

This organization should consider feeding the children of Centreville Illinois

I’m not sure how the locations are chosen. Check out fmcs.org for more info.

It just seems like they primarily help other countries whereas the city I mentioned in your state has the highest rate of poverty. I sometimes think that more places like this should help out Americans as a top priority.
