I appreciate that they used the International Children’s Bible for the simpler language and greater understanding of young children or less mature Christians.

If you are doing this as a family devotional, I suggest that you purchase a physical copy so that you can make the ornaments.

The Kindle version is acceptable for a solo study; however, I was a bit disappointed that the daily devotionals didn’t go a bit deeper.

    I tend to look for depth myself. I have learned that we can make our own treasure hunts 🙂

  2. As far as deeper, maybe it went as deep as the author felt like it should be for children. I went to Amazon to find what ages it was intended for and it didn’t list age ranges. What I did discover is that this is not a unique idea. There are a lot of books that sound very similar–Jesse Tree in the title, 25 devotionals for Advent, and decorations to make. I assumed it was an original idea, but it wasn’t. 🙃
