When I was asked to participate in a writing challenge with some colleagues in the fall of 2017, I never imagined that it would evolve into the blog that it is today.
The project was to write short entries of EXACTLY 100 words for 100 days. As you will see, I didn’t always follow the rules & sometimes combined 2 Days and wrote 200 words. When I got to Day 83, I began my training to be a jail/prison chaplain & kind of dropped the ball. I have since decided to allow myself the freedom to post at irregular intervals & to write until God tells me I am done.
Those original 100 Words offerings are located here.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. – James 2:26 NKJV
Thank you for taking this journey with me. I appreciate every like, comment, and subscription.
I enjoy your writing, Barb. The “four things within four feet,” and “Five minute Friday,” have strengthened and stretched me as a writer. It appears you have enjoyed many different jobs over the years!

My life is not at all what I imagined it would be when I started college. God, clearly had other ideas and lovingly nudged me toward the right path. I didn’t always listen or obey when the call came, but eventually I saw the error of my ways and followed the path the He so lovingly and patiently laid our for me.
