The last month has been very busy in my little corner of the world.
I have taken on a new role at work, which means that my hours have changed and I am getting home later than usual. I am still adjusting to being able to sleep a bit later or getting things done around the house before I go to work.
Also, my daughter got married over the weekend. If you have ever been the mother of the bride and traveled to another city for the wedding, you understand how much time, effort, and brain power go into ensuring that EVERYTHING is perfect.
Through it all, my heart has been singing:

Hoping your new position is a benefit to you and your family. Also, congratulations on your daughter’s wedding. I was a father to the bride myself, I was only told where to be and what to do. Oh! I did get to have the father of the bride dance. It was beautiful for me

I was given lots of projects to do the week before the event & I got to walk with the flower girl (my granddaughter). Pure joy…all of it!
