God calls us to “Treat others the same way you want them to treat you – Luke 6:31 (NASB)” So if you expect others to be quick to forgive, you must model that behavior.

Our motivation in every human interaction should be to value their wants & needs above your own. Unless, of course serving them will cause you to commit a crime or somehow sin against God.
