Early yesterday morning I took a walk along the beach. In those quiet predawn moments I was struck anew by the beauty around me.
If you’re unfamiliar with late fall in the midwest, imagine this:
It’s 90 minutes before sunrise on a windless 20⁰ morning. The trees have lost all their leaves and the nearby homes are adorned with twinkling lights. Yes, this time of year has a beauty all it’s own.
The heavens tell about the glory of God. The skies announce what his hands have made. – Psalm 19:1 ERV

Dear God,
May I always appreciate the beauty of your world.
Amen
I can relate to what you’re talking about. Early morning is my favorite time to “contemplate my existence” with God in this world. Being outside in His creation helps.
