My new friend Jennie asked me to do the Chocoholic Frolic Virtual 5k with her and since we only live about 20 miles apart we decided to meet “somewhere in between”.
I knew we had to pick someplace that’s paved because you never know what the weather will be on a December day in Chicagoland.
Hickory Grove Highlands was the perfect spot to make our trek on this beautiful, sunny 32⁰ Sunday.
If you haven’t done a virtual 5k, give it a shot. They can be done on your own time. They can be done outside, on a treadmill, on an inside track, really anywhere!
