My dear friend Dede and her family spent Father’s Day not at their “cabin” in Lake Geneva but instead at the visitation for her dad, who left this earth for heaven on June 14th. I cannot imagine the pain that Dede and her eleven siblings are feeling. Their Papi was a true patriarch who loved his family and his God.

But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ. – 1 Corinthians 11:3 NASB
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. – Ephesians 6:4 NASB
Losing a father is hard, praying that the Lord comforts them. In as much as their father is in the loving arms of Jesus, I know it still hurts. Sending hearts and hugs.
