I love what Pastor Ryan posted on Facebook after church last Sunday…

What a Lord’s Day at Mundelein Nazarene’s Generations Sunday! We started off with a Combined Sunday School with different intergenerational breakout groups. Our worship service focused on the generational connections throughout God’s story. It was awesome to hear from Wade MaryJane Dickson, Kurt Flemming, and Erica Garcia! We ended with putting hand written prayers on a prayer tree and praying over our students as they begin the school year. It was a truly powerful day! Erica, Abby Flemming, and Gabby Weitzel were the catalyst in wanting to see this day happen! They’re a joy to work with, and they love their church family deeply!! We will also miss Tim Ottinger and Libby Ottinger as they venture to Scotland for a few months!!!

Praise be to God, and now I take a nap!

I have to agree with Pastor Ryan, Generations Sunday was a day that will have an abiding impact on the congregation for years to come.
