I look at my stack of textbooks, folders and notebooks and realize that in a few days this semester will be over. 📒
Paint swatches on the table remind me that I need to pick a color before the painter comes on Thursday. 🪣🖌️
My to-do list for the weekend is quite lengthy…why am I surprised? 📃
And, of course, there is a flickering candle, a sleepy kitty & an empty coffee cup. ☕

Snow receding in the rain
reveals remnants of summer stalks.
A dreary sky presses me to stay snuggled in my covers.
The red numerals on the clock mock my want to stay burrowed.
The calendar quietly shouts, “Get moving! Today’s the Christmas Tea!”

Ooops, you said a four letter word, “snow” at least that what we say here in the Colorado Rockies!

I love it too, only when I don’t have to drive in it or shovel it. Last winter we got so much snow I had to shovel moats around the fence to the yard as the dogs were able to just walk over the top of the 6 foot high fence!

I know, I should have six packs abs for all the shoveling I did!

Nice, I also try to alternate which shoulder I throw the snow over so I don’t have one huge muscled arm and the other one a little wimpy one!

Another semester almost under you belt! That’s awesome, Barb. Around me I see a throw blanket I have on my feet, my Kindle on my left, my husband on my right, a football game on TV in front of us. 🙂

A full coffee cup. It’s evening so I might actually catch up on emails and reading posts.
My reading glasses,,,OK I put them on. Now I will correct my spellings.
I can just switch seats and play the piano (after giving my wife and daughter headphones).
A couple buckets of monster oak leaves my wife found and another of big acorns. I think my wife is going to decorate or something. In my mind it will just confuse the Christmas tree and the dog will desperately try to eat the leaves….I think I should just relax and drink my coffee. Maybe herbal tea would be better as I might have had too much caffeine with my ADHD mind already in several places at a time.
