As most of you know, I ask God for a word or phrase to focus on each year. I do this along with a wonderful group of bloggers who link up on Lisa Notes once a month. Over the last few years, Lisa has done an amazing job at creating and nurturing community via a private Facebook Group.

My One Word (WOTY) for 2024 is RENEWAL.

Below is my response to this month’s prompt:

Where have you already seen your word this year? What does it look like? Why this word?

I never know what God has in store for me when He gives me my word. However, every single year, without fail, the word (or phrase) fits perfectly into His plan and grows me in ways that I could never have imagined. This is not the journey that I thought I would be on. In fact, I thought that I was going to keep my 2023 word TEACH/LEARN for another year. But God being who He is had other plans. My journey to RENEWAL actually started on December 3rd (2023). Until I sat down to write this post I did not realize that I had already written six blog posts on the subject of RENEWAL.
